Where is twinklingwords?!

By Vageesha Mishra

Hello everyone! I know what you’re thinking, she talked about remedies, made fun of some aunties and then vanished into thin air! But let me tell you, WP never leaves my thought as it’s so much more than just a medium♥️ So, long story short, I’ve been constantly travelling. My creative side has gone on a break too apparently. It’s slowly making a comeback by pushing me closer and closer to a serious guilt trip for having been inactive here. My sincere apologies. I shall return very soon.

I hope you’re all happy and kicking. I’m sure I’ve missed a lot and would slowly catch up on each of them. Looking forward to your amazing posts. Till we meet again, here’s a fun thought.

I don’t get why people wear high heels while travelling especially in train journeys where it’s an established fact that one would need to drag their feet along streches of a slippery, sometimes uneven platform. Unless of course you meet a Maverick of a person who tells you the exact spot on the platform where your bogie would eventually arrive.

The scene sure is hilarious when caught from your esteemed seat (the resilient luggage bag that has been holding my weight for some years now.) You see them scurrying away hopelessly with wobbly legs while their co-travellers take care of their heavy belongings as well as their own, yelling impatiently, “train agyi hai, dabba aage lagega, bhago bhago, do minute hi rukti hai yahan. (Hurry up or we’ll miss the train!”)

  1. Lovely to hear from you twinklingwords! You always have some funny observations. I don’t normally wear high heals myself, flat shoes and trainers are my thing. The dress code in Norway is relatively casual so high heals aren’t required in the companies I worked/work for. 😊🌸

    1. Isabelle! It’s such a delight to hear from you too. I’ve missed you and your work. Will read them soon. And thank you so much for such kind words. Hahaha! I wish I keep finding humour in situations! Keeps me happy!
Norway♥️ ah no wonder your posts are beyond amazing. I’m glad you have casual dress code because heels I don’t think are good for your back aches.

      1. Thank you for the thoughtful words twinklingwords! No I haven’t worn high heels for years so I’m definitely not a high heel person. You’re right, it would do much harm to my weak back. Love you sense of humour, we all need a laugh in this fast-paced world. No stress reading my posts. Wishing you a beautiful day, take care 😊❤️

  2. Ms Twinkling! You have been missed! Where have you been travelling? Can’t wait to hear your stories.
As for the heels, just all the impracticalities of die-hard princesses. I love travelling with a sturdy pair of hiking boots, wouldn’t leave the house without them. 😊

    1. Hi Jolene😄 you’ve been missed too. I’ve been travelling to some interior parts of India. Alright, let me see how I can share my experiences because I mean these are not tourist attraction place as such and I had gone there for different work related purpose. Ahahahaa die hard princesses, couldn’t have been said better. How have you been? I’m sure I’ve missed your work too. Have you been travelling too?

      1. Oh thank you, you are sweet! I’d love to hear about the “real” India, not necessarily the glossy brochures of Taj Mahal. Tel us about your work and how you find working in India! Is there a lot of competition? I find that problem quite deep-seated in China where competition can be cutthroat. I’m drowning in work too, can’t seem to find a balance, the more I work the more I drown. But I hope to be back soon. I did travel! 😊 Touch base soon my friend!

      2. Hi my friend, thank you for your happy words♥️ Umm, I’m kind of involved in a couple of personal things (paperworks) that usually happens when you lose a family member here abruptly. So, I’d been travelling for that purpose. Otherwise I told, no? I’m studying as well as I write as a content writer. So yeah I mean, couple of things mixed together! Yes sure I will write something 😄
Working in India is competitive, very actually. And there are levels to the competition, you could be ambitious, hard working, talented but even that’s not enough, you need to be street smart 😦
        How about there?

      3. I totally understand, and I’m so sorry that you are going through such a distressing period in your life. I hope you take comfort in the thought that you have our absolute support and blessing.
As for work, unfortunately it’s the same everywhere now. It’s not about what you know, but who you know. Sad, eh! Keep on fighting and have a great day!

  3. Aaah so goood to see you back!
Back with a short post, but amazing enough to compensate for some of your absence, I guess xP
High Heels, IKRRR. I’m not a high heels person, so even on a regular basis, I always wonder how people can wear heels regularly, and then comes transport.
And ohgosh, how do they expect to run on railway platforms and get into a train that stops for only 2 minutes, along with so much of luggage?
Nextlevel crisis, I tell you xD

Until then, looking forward to reading your interesting tales, TW. Welcome back!

    1. Hi, Smitha. I bet you were not expecting this name to pop up in your notification bar! How are you? We really have some catching up to do, lots happened in two years including a pandemic, who would have thought. Had removed WP app from phone (needed some time off and then work took over.) Had been planning to return for the longest time but before that I needed to speak with the friends whom I did miss even when away from here. I’m connecting with you on social media soon enough so we don’t lose touch again. I hope and you lovely family are well and healthy 🙂
